INTRODUCTION My collaborative work with Prof. Chu-Fang Lo in National Taiwan University has focused on the study of white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), which is the causative agent of one of the world's most serious shrimp diseases. The scope of our research includes not only the virus itself, but extends to viral transmission and control.
